Over the past few weeks, Class 9 has resembled a toy workshop! We have been designing and making moving toys using cam mechanisms. Have a look at the finished products.

Class 9’s Assembly
This afternoon, Class 9 entertained the school and parents with their class assembly. They acted parts of the story ‘The Explorer’, took us back to Victorian times, showed the moving toys they have been making and performed an anti-bullying rap. Well done to all of Class 9, you were fantastic! Thank you to the parents who came to support the children.
Ambleside Adventures
On Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th May, all of Year 5 traveled to Ambleside for our one night residential. We went on a VERY long walk led by Mr Howarth, did an orienteering activity with Mr Dixon and went kayaking on Rydal Water with Paul from Morecambe High School. We had a fantastic time even though we were exhausted by the end!
