At the heart of the village community, with the community at heart
It has been a very busy time over the past few weeks, so sorry that this is a little late! Two weeks ago, Year 5 walked down to the shore to participate in different art activities. We made stone towers, picture frames in the sand using natural materials and painted landscapes with water colours.
What a week we have had! Sports, sports and even more sports! Have a look at some of the photos below! Class 8 have enjoyed korfball, football, cricket, Bay Fit master class and even some jujitsu with Activ8!
As part of our topic this half term ‘How does your garden grow’, Class 8 have been spending a lot of time in our school gardens! Mrs Peck has shown us all the different things that have been growing, some children even tried the freshly ripe strawberries! We have also been checking up on our sunflowers!
On Tuesday, children began digging up the potatoes, which we are hopefully going to cook and enjoy in class next week!
