We strongly encourage families to walk to school whenever possible. If driving is necessary, we recommend using a ‘park and stride’ approach by parking near Holy Trinity Church and walking through the village to school. Parents and children can enter the school grounds via the lower playground gate that connects to the Community Centre.
The gates open at 8:30am and close at 8:55am. During this time, we offer a flexible ‘arrival window’ where pupils can enter their classrooms between 8:45am and 8:55am. A member of staff will be on duty to welcome and supervise during this time arrival window time.
Our collection time at the end of the day is staggered, with infant children dismissed five minutes earlier to ensure a safe and smooth handover to their parents or carers. We ask that parents wait on the lower or middle playground while Class Teachers escort their pupils to the top playground. Children will remain in their class lines, and when your child reaches the front, please step forward and make yourself known to the Class Teacher for collection.
