Welcome to the Spring Term, below are the Curriculum News Letters for all the infant classes. Please click on the links below, any questions feel free to contact your child’s class teacher.
This half term we will be learning all about the Great Fire of London. As usual children will be given topic homework which will have a range of tasks for them to complete, to support their learning in school. This will help them develop an understanding of the ways in which, we can find out about the past through discussing primary sources. Both in school and at home, the children will have the opportunity to increase their awareness of the past by comparing and contrasting past and present-day London, as well as looking at how life was different in the 17th Century.
We are sure the children will enjoy this look into Britain’s past. Have fun and most of all ENJOY!
Just a quick reminder that our KS1 Nativity Performances take place on Wednesday and Thursday this week from 2pm, we look forward to seeing you all. The children are working particularly hard on the performance of ‘Lights, Camel…..Action’ it should be a real treat!
Please could you make sure that all costumes are in school ASAP.
If there are any problems or worries please feel free to contact me or another member of the KS1 Team. Mr Dixon shall be on the playground tomorrow (Monday) morning from 8.45am.
Many Thanks
Ks1 Team
