Welcome to Buttermere Class!
This class is made up of Reception Children.
This year, the children in Buttermere Class will be taught by Mrs Tattersall (Mon, Tue, Wed am) and Mrs Metcalfe (Wed pm, Thur, Fri) with the help of our wonderful Teaching Assistant, Mrs Coopland.

We are delighted to have launched the use of the Seesaw app, as a way of sharing and communicating children’s learning and development with parents and carers.

Phonics
In our daily phonics lessons, we use the Monster Phonics Scheme to teach the children how to read and write. This an enjoyable and engaging programme that uses characters to help the children to learn the different sounds used in reading and writing.
