Here are just a few examples of what has been a very exciting half term in Class 7. We started the term by discovering a hidden tomb at the back of the hall. We each took it in turns to explore and found a mummy and hidden treasures! We enjoyed a super trip to the World Museum in Liverpool where we saw ‘real-life’ mummies, artifacts and even enjoyed the other exhibits there!
In Art, we have been designing and making our Canopic Jars – we have uploaded a few examples.
We had a lovely time in the garden this week with Mrs Peck, who taught us how to plant seeds and care for them. The children have now got a sunflower each and we can’t wait to see how much they have grown after half-term!
Class 7 went outside this week to measure in cm and m! We drew our own dragons onto the playground and then measured them in both cm and m. We also measured the ‘Giganticus’ Dragon on the middle playground, which was a whopping 26m and 30cm!
