Class 7 went outside this week to measure in cm and m! We drew our own dragons onto the playground and then measured them in both cm and m. We also measured the ‘Giganticus’ Dragon on the middle playground, which was a whopping 26m and 30cm!

At the heart of the village community, with the community at heart

In one of our recent experiments, we turned off the lights, shut the blinds to make the classroom as dark as possible. We then used classroom objects and held them at different distances from the torches, to see how shadows change. We found that the closer the object is to the light source, the bigger the shadow was!
