Your child should have brought a letter home about our VE day celebration on Wednesday 20th December. It would be great to see children dressing up in WWII attire – please don’t go to great expense for this. The children have worked extremely hard and are excited to show you a range of work: letters, diaries, podcasts and poems (warning: these will probably make you cry!) See you on 20th December.
Class 10
KS2 Nativity
Don’t forget it’s the KS2 nativity tomorrow (Monday 11th December). The children have been practising super hard and would love to see you at 2:00pm or 6:00pm at the Holy Trinity Church.
Multi-Faith week
Class 10 have had an enjoyable and educational week, learning about different religions. We have visited a Buddhist Centre and taken part in meditation, tasted food that is important to the Jewish and Muslim faiths, created a festivals calendar, created our own Islamic patterns, taken part in a Judaism workshop (delivered by Mr Bloom) and joined in with an Islamic workshop (run by Anwar). The children have been brilliant: asking intelligent, cross-faith questions and thinking carefully about the beliefs of others.
