As Science week draws to a close, here are some more photos of the activities we have been doing.
During the week, we have researched a scientist in each class. We researched the astronomer Edwin Hubble. We then shared what we had found out with other children from Class 5.
Also, we have carried out an investigation looking at different parachutes. We watched a Soyuz descent module returning to Earth, using parachutes to slow its descent, and planned an investigation. Some of us changed the material of the parachute, some of us changed the length of the strings, some changed the size of the parachute while some changed the size of the hole in the middle of the parachute. We had to keep the test fair. The results were varied!
